The not-for-profit Serica Initiative needed a brand refresh to better reflect their mission which is to raise awareness of the Asian diaspora through dialogue, storytelling, and the power of convening. To engage a younger AAPI demographic, we developed an eye-catching logomark that represents diverse communities coming together to work toward achieving this singular mission. The circular mark and gradient color depict the evolving narratives that emerge in the course of Serica’s work. We developed a brand book that expands on the theme with a bespoke color palette and colorways that evoke an uplifting and inclusive vibe.
